The Tax Appeal Tribunal Coordinating Secretary, Bolanle Oniyangi Esq led the commissioners, and staff of the agency to the Nigerian Bar Association 62nd Annual General Conference held in Eko Atlantic City, Lagos State. 

The weeklong event scheduled for the 19th to 26th of August was themed on “Bold Transitions” with an array of programs that reflect the current happenings within the judicial sector and its environs.

The event witnessed the presence of heavyweight judicial officers, judges, Senior Advocates, Captains of Industries, CEOs, heads of Government agencies, and members of the bar across all walks of life.

Other conferees include the NBA President, Olumide Akpata, the incoming President of the Body, Yakubu Maikyau, and oldest female lawyer in Nigeria, Folake Solanke (SAN), and many others.

Also present were the Chief Judge of Lagos State, Hon. Justice Kazeem Alogba, who is also representing the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Attorney-General of Lagos, Moyosore Onigbanjo (SAN) representing Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

This year’s conference has several technical sessions where speakers led conversations primarily aimed at envisaging the future of the legal profession in particular and Nigeria in general within the context of a rapidly changing world.
